Microsoft Expert Talk @ International supply chain program!

Exiting Expert Talk with Microsoft @ International Supply chain program!

The Program „International Supply Chain Management“ hosted a Microsoft Experts Online Talk with special focus on „Smart Logistics Data“ on November, 24th. This year, for the second time, the program provides practical insights and know-how on international, sustainable and digital supply chains.

Florian Kidman, a former FHS student, started the Experts Talk with a key note speech targeting the digital transformation at Microsoft. The company builds this long-term change on four pillars: empower employees, engage customers, optimize operations and transform products.

This was followed by Moritz Winzig giving insights into „Factory of the Future“ and the world of artificial intelligence (AI). He illustrated the importance of AI Maturity with the example of a child, who would not jump down a cliff if all the other kids from school do, while a poorly planned and trained machine learning algorithm might blindly ‘follow the pack’ as the ‚data suggests that action‘

The Program „International Supply Chain Management“ is based on a combination of different courses that impart extensive knowledge. The ISCM Project provides additional practical relevance and rounds off the entire program. In conclusion, many thanks to Monika Schobesberger as well as Maria Siller for making the lessons – even in a time of online lectures – very exciting with innovative teaching methods.
